Magazine Ideas: Sports, Travel , Drake

The theme is assigned a role before you even start to type. Its job is to set the tone, decide the audience, and guide everything you create. After putting in a lot of thought, I've gathered my top three choices.

1. Sports
Sports have always been a big part of my life, so a sports-focused magazine feels natural. This theme could include customized articles for athletes, potientially some game highlights, and even profiles on local teams. I like this idea because it allows me to combine my personal experience in sports with the media skills that we might be learning in class. It’s also a topic that can reach a wide audience, and a variety of people, since many people enjoy sports in some way.

2. Cruises and The Ocean
I’ve always been intrigued by travel, especially cruises. A magazine focused on cruises could include articles about different destinations, cruise tips especially for teens, food and activities on board, and guides for planning trips. I like this theme because it would let me combine beautiful visuals with informative content. It also gives me the chance to make the magazine feel exciting and close to home if anyone reading is going on a cruise to one of the places listed.

3. Aubrey Drake Graham
A magazine about Drake could include album reviews, song breakdowns, interviews, career highlights, fashion, and influence on pop culture. I like this theme because it allows me to explore music, style, and media storytelling while connecting with other fans. Also, because Drake is a huge artist and is soon coming out with a new album which I'm sure will have a lot to write about.
