How Drakes Keeps Changing the Music Game
When I began thinking about themes for my magazine, I thought what's something people actually like and, then I thought well why not write about Drake. He’s not just a rapper and singer, he’s an icon who many people aspire to be more like, influences music. Choosing him as my theme felt natural because he connects with so many people, especially teens, and there’s a lot of places the magazine can go.
Drake’s career is full of inspiration. From his early days on Degrassi (a Canadian teen drama) to becoming a globally recognized musician, he shows growth, creativity, and adaptability qualities. I can include features about his music, his style evolution, his upcoming album, and even how he uses social media to engage with fans. This gives my magazine a clear focus while still allowing for variety in content, like interviews, album reviews, or fashion spreads inspired by his looks.
Looking at other media also reinforced my choice. Some magazines often highlight artists journeys and personal stories, which made me realize I could do the same with Drake. I could create sections that focus on his career milestones, collaborations, and cultural impact. His influence on pop culture makes him relevant and interesting for readers, which is I feel is important when designing a magazine that attracts attention.
Images are especially important for a magazine themed around Drake. Album covers, concert photos, connected to him could make the pages visually appealing. His style and personality offer a wide range of creative ideas. This flexibility gives my magazine the ability to be neat and fun to put together.
Overall, choosing Drake as my magazine theme isn’t just about featuring a celebrity. It’s about highlighting creativity, influence, and connection with an audience. He inspires me to think beyond music and explore visual storytelling and fan culture. Using him as a central theme gives my magazine a strong
image and helps me create content that is engaging, exciting, and uniquely mine.
